Prof. Anna-Rita ATTILIEBVS Specialist in Veterinary Microbiology
Anna-Rita Attili is doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM), National Specialist in Inspection of Food of Animal Origin (PGDip) and since 20th May 2022 she is De Facto Diplomate at the European College of Veterinary Microbiology (De Facto Dipl. ECVM). She is chair of Exceptional Personal Circumstances Commettee of ECVM. She is Associate Professor with the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor and Deputy Director of the Specialisation in Animal Health and Livestock Production in UNICAM. Since 2005, she works at the School of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine - University of Camerino, Italy, as referent of Bacteriology and Mycology at the Laboratory of Medical Microbiology and Infectious diseases – Unicam (Italy), where Anna-Rita regularly performs welfare c/third diagnostic activity on animal infectious diseases in domestic, wild mammals, birds, reptiles and on environmental substrates. She is lecturer of Microbiology and Epidemiology, Bacterial Infectious Diseases of animals and Prophylaxis, Diseases of Avian and Lagomorphic species at . Anna-Rita does research in Microbiology, Epidemiology, Infectious Diseases, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health. Her research interests are focused on antimicrobial resistance, microbial biofilms, epidemiological studies on ESKAPE microorganisms, Staphylococcus spp., Acinetobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis infections in different animal species. Anna-Rita is Author of more than 200 publications on international and national journals, books, and proceedings.
