Dr. Andrea Grassi holds a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bologna, a Master of Science in Swine Pathology from the University of Milan, and an Executive Master in Clinical Pathology. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Microbiology (ECVM) and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists (ACVM), certified in Bacteriology and Mycology.

His professional career includes working as a Resident Diagnostician at IZSLER in Brescia from 2009 to 2014, serving as Head of the Laboratory at I-Vet in Brescia from 2014 to 2022, and currently working as a veterinarian in routine diagnostic services at IZSLER in Pavia since 2022.

His main research and professional interests focus on veterinary microbiology, diagnostic microbiology, infectious diseases, and veterinary mycology.
